The Pasta Girl Diaries
When I started this Substack, I had every intention of writing more recipes, but as I’ve written more and as it’s taken on it’s own form, The Kitchen Witchcraft no longer felt like it fit. Since beginning this project, I’ve learned that I love writing personal essays, that I love having this space to be a place for my thoughts on food or otherwise, and that mostly, it’s become a much-needed space for my own unfiltered creative expression.
I don’t expect for much to change in regards to the kind of pieces I continue to share: a few recipes here and there, definitely more of my thoughts, most definitely an update on my new professional pasta girl life.
Where did the name The Pasta Girl Diaries come from?
I’ve always been a pasta girl (see: buttered noodles in my second piece), turned professional full-time pasta girl, and will forever be a pasta girl. And maybe I grew up watching and reading The Princess Diaries series too.
